Biarritz Sports And Classic Cars (Bscc) is pleased to present this 1977 Beetle 1303 convertible.

More than 330,000 Beetles were produced, including around 100,000 1303s.
The ultimate evolution of the Beetle, the 1303 is easily recognisable by its curved windscreen, rather than the flat one of its predecessors.

This 1977 model incorporated the latest innovations, such as seats with integrated headrests, a moulded dashboard and rack-and-pinion steering.

This Beetle was purchased in Germany in 2000 and has remained in the hands of the same owner ever since.
The chassis and body were restored in 2006 (invoice and photos available).
Isolated state acceptance was carried out in 2006 to import the car.
The engine was replaced by a more powerful and reliable one (2 carburettors, electronic ignition, etc.). However, the original engine is still available for those who want it.

We have a file of invoices, the various technical inspections and an expert's report dating from 2019.
The car remains in its original colour: Brazil Brown.

The soft top is in very good condition.

At the wheel, the first ray of sunlight will encourage you to lower the soft top. It's a simple car to drive, almost modern. The brakes are effective and the gears shift easily. The atmosphere is very pleasant, and passers-by make friendly eye contact.
