Van Diemen is a British single-seater manufacturer that started out in 1973. It was one of the acknowledged leaders in the manufacture of Formula Ford cars.
It built a large number of Formula Ford 1600 and 2000 cars.
In the early 80s, it won numerous podiums with drivers such as Roberto Moreni, Raul Boesel, Jonathan Palmer, Tommy Byrne and a certain Ayrton Senna...

This VD 81 is the same model that enabled Ayrton Senna to win the British championship in 1981.
It is presented in the same livery as the Brazilian champion.

The car is in perfect condition and ready to drive.
The Kent engine has just been rebuilt by a renowned specialist.

The VD81 is recognised as being very efficient in its category.

It has an FFSA passport and is eligible for all Ford Historic championships.
